Topic: Proposed Transportation Improvement Program Amendment
Period: August 30, 2012 through September 10, 2012
The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) announces a public comment period for a proposed amendment to the Federal Fiscal Years 2011-2015 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The public comment period will begin on Thursday, August 30, 2012 and end on Monday, September 10, 2012.
The proposed amendment programs funding for the following projects:
X77267 – New York City Commercial Vehicle Monitoring and Enforcement Program on the Alexander Hamilton Bridge in Northern Manhattan and the Bronx.
X82348 – Staten Island Ferry Maintenance Facility Pier Utilities Upgrade in Lower Manhattan and Staten Island.
X82349 – Battery Maritime Building Slip 6 Lift Bridge Replacement in Lower Manhattan.
TBA – West Harlem Transportation and Revitalization Improvements, Manhattanville, New York (W 125th Street to W 116th Street) in Manhattan.
