The MNRCC is looking forward to New Jersey’s new administration led by Governor-elect Phil Murphy. It is hopeful that new leadership will bring about much needed change for West-of-Hudson rail service. The MNRCC will continue to express the West-of-Hudson needs for improved service starting with additional sidings on the Pascack Valley line to help when trains are delayed. This is a relatively low-cost project, but for Rockland County residents who currently receive far fewer services from the MTA for their tax dollars, it would produce a tremendous qualitative difference in rail service.
