Randy Glucksman

Randy Glucksman has more than 40 years of rail operations experience, most recently with Systra Engineering in Manhattan where he worked as a Senior Rail Operations Analyst. Previously, Mr. Glucksman was employed by MTA New York City Transit in various assignments, holding numerous positions through the years including Principal Transportation Management Analyst, Superintendent, Trainmaster, Train Dispatcher, Motorman, and Conductor. Mr. Glucksman has been an advocate for improved transit options for many years, and previously served on several citizen advisory committees studying proposed improvements to transit service.
Mr. Glucksman received his B.S. in Business Administration at Dominican College. He is a Vietnam Veteran who served in the U.S. Army and is a member of several veterans groups in Rockland County, as well as on Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick’s Veterans Advisory Council.
Mr. Glucksman is married with two grown children and two grandchildren, and presently resides in West Nyack, New York. He rides the Pascack Valley Line, one of Metro-North’s West-of-Hudson rail lines, or the Hudson Line for trips into Manhattan.
