At the quarterly meeting of the PCAC on September 3rd, Richard Brodsky, Member of the New York State Assembly (District 92 –Westchester County) and Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Corporations, Authorities, and Commissions, will speak to the members about the pending Public Authority Reform Legislation. This bill, which calls for more disclosure and oversight of public authorities in New York, such as the MTA, has been passed by both the Assembly and Senate and is awaiting the approval of Governor Paterson.
The PCAC meets in the MTA Headquarters 5th Floor Board Room at 347 Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Assemblyman Brodsky’s appearance is slated for 1pm, after the regular business of the PCAC is concluded. The meeting is open to the public but visitors must first secure a pass from security in the lobby.
