The long awaited Atlantic Ticket (Freedom Ticket) pilot program is set to begin service on June 6, 2018. The Atlantic Ticket will reduce LIRR City fares at Queens Village, Hollis, St. Albans, Rosedale, Laurelton, Locust Manor, Jamaica, East New York, Nostrand Avenue, and at Atlantic Terminal with a transfer to subways and buses, which will reduce some 2+hour extreme commutes down to as little as 45 minutes!
