LIRR Strike Averted with Days to Spare

On Thursday, July 17 Governor Cuomo announced agreement between the MTA and labor unions representing LIRR workers.  In the months before the deadline, the Long Island Rail Road Commuter Council (LIRRCC) worked to ensure riders would have real options and meaningful service information.  Ultimately, as the LIRRCC called for, the MTA provided a one-stop site to inform riders.
