Executive Committee Meeting
November 8, 2012, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) announces the next Executive Committee meeting of its New York City Transportation Coordinating Committee (NYCTCC), during which the development of the Federal Fiscal Years 2014-18 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) will be discussed.    The TIP is a federally-mandated product of NYMTC’s planning process which identifies transportation improvements programmed to receive federal funding in the NYMTC planning area.  The development process for the 2014-18 TIP is beginning and will be discussed by the Executive Committee.  The NYCTCC Executive Committee Meeting will begin at 6:30 pm in NYMTC’s offices, 199 Water Street, 22nd floor, in lower Manhattan. It will also be webcast live; the webcast can be accessed through www.NYMTC.org.

NYMTC is a regional council of governments and transportation providers that serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for New York City, Long Island and the lower Hudson Valley.  In order to be more responsive to transportation planning needs at the local level, NYMTC is comprised of three Transportation Coordinating Committees (TCCs).  The Mid-Hudson South TCC covers Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties; the Nassau/Suffolk TCC covers Nassau and Suffolk counties; and the New York City TCC covers the five boroughs of New York City.  The meeting agenda is below and is also available in the Calendar of Events section of www.NYMTC.org.
