Members of the NYC Transit Riders Council and PCAC staff recently toured the Fulton Center, which is currently under construction in Lower Manhattan. Work on Fulton Center is continuing toward a scheduled June 2014 completion date. When completed, the Fulton Center will open to riders an accessible pathway spanning most of the width of Manhattan from William Street on the east to the World Financial Center at the Hudson River on the west. The complex will provide a seamless transfer between the A, C, J, Z, 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains and connections between these lines and E, R and 1 trains, as well as the PATH system and Hudson River ferries. The completed project will also include over 65,000 square feet of retail space.
