PCAC Statement – October 19, 2021 – MTA Senior Leadership Appointments

The MTA and its riders are in good hands with the senior level appointments announced today. The new leadership brings a wealth of experience in managing New York’s diverse and complex problems and finding workable solutions. The dedicated team from within have shown their commitment to riders and the MTA, and we look forward to working with them to improve our transit system for the benefit of riders and the region as a whole. Now we hope that Governor Hochul will round out the team by naming Janno Lieber as the MTA’s official Chair and CEO.
