Brit Byrd

Brit is Senior Planner for the Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso. In his role, he oversees the Comprehensive Plan for Brooklyn, advises on transportation and public realm issues, and reviews land use applications. Prior to joining the Borough President’s Office, Brit served the City of New York in roles at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and New York City Emergency Management (NYCEM). He served on the Board of Directors at the Greene Hill Food Cooperative in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn from 2021-2024.

Brit holds a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the Pratt Institute Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment (GCPE).
