Henry Mei

Research and Advocacy Intern

Henry joined PCAC as a Research and Advocacy Intern after recently graduating from Hunter College with a B.A. in Urban Studies. As a native New Yorker who relied on the bus and subway his entire life, he is fascinated by our transit system’s complicated history and always thinking about the ways it can better serve all corners of the five boroughs. Coming from a public space organizing background in his home borough of Queens, Henry is especially interested in the design of streets and how it can be better leveraged to create a more sustainable future for New York. At PCAC, he is currently researching the issues bus riders face and the ways in which the MTA’s buses can become a more dependable network for its 1.4 million daily riders.
