PCAC demonstrated its continued commitment to improving regional public transportation in 2001. In April, PCAC released a major research report, Right of Passage: Reducing Barriers to the Use of Public Transportation in the MTA Region. The report makes recommendations for improved signage at intermodal transfers and implementation of “kiss-and-ride” passenger drop-off locations at commuter rail stations.
